OMG it's August??!!!

How did that happen?! Big stuff coming up for High 5 Pie...

This weekend is the 12th Avenue Neighborhood Festival, 12-6pm between Pike and Madison on 12th. Lots of food vendors with small plates (nothing over $5!), music, ice cream, neat stuff to buy, and more. Come by our H5 booth, we'll have sweet and savory Flipsides and Petit-5's!

Our seasonal flavor is Mango Coconut right now, and it's so good! I love mango so much and this Flipside is so fresh and summery...mmmm...We're looking for a good seasonal flavor for fall already though, so send me your ideas! dani(at)high5pie(dot)com.

Almost Summer....

...though I'm not sure I'm believing it much with this crazy weather!  However, neither rain nor gray nor delayed nice weather is keeping us from having some pretty incredible pie adventures lately.  

So every day for the past month and a half, Cat (H5's head baker) and I have been logging serious hours at the bakery developing OVER 30 NEW RECIPES!!!  Yep, seriously over 30...some sweet, some savory, all super delicious. 

 Some examples to look forward to:  Raspberry/Mint/Chocolate, Perfect Marionberry Pie, Strawberry Rhubarb with Ginger, Chocolate Creme, Coconut Cream, Banana Blueberry Pudding Pie, Amazing Strawberry Apricot Pie, Peach/Ricotta/Honey, and SO many more.  Ready for some savory coming attractions?  How about:  Ham/Gruyere/Caramelized Onion, Prosciutto/Pear/Gruyere, Salmon/Cream Cheese/Dill, Quiches, oh man the list just goes on and on!!!

Oh my gosh, and how could I forget this one, soon to be your new fave:  Peanut Butter and Jelly Pie with cookie crumb crust????!!!!  

Ah yes, it's gonna be a great summer...by the way, get our seasonal Peach/Ginger/Raspberry while you can as it will soon be replaced!  What's next?  We're thinking Lemon Blueberry, but let me know if you have an idea!
